Brussels Airport (BRU)
Airport Hotels and Accommodation
(Brussels, Belgium)
The lodging scene in Brussels has never been more prevalent, with both traditional Belgian hotels and more modern accommodation being widespread. In recent years, a number of business and luxury hotels have appeared in Brussels and their arrival has made the city's accommodation scene all the more exciting and competitive.
Lying within the heart of Western Europe, Brussels Airport Zaventem (BRU) is an especially important gateway and is amongst Belgium's most prominent. As can be expected, an ever-increasing selection of hotels and similar accommodation options reside within in central Brussels, while others are particularly close to Zaventem Airport, in the Diegem, Kortenberg, Vilvoorde and Zaventem areas. Much of the city is surrounded by a large motorway, known as the 'Ring', making transport easy, both to and from the city itself and Zaventem Airport.

The tourism industry in Brussels is booming and the related hotel industry has expanded to meet the demand. Hotels in the city centre can be reached in just 15 minutes, standing around 12 km / 7.5 miles south-west of Brussels Airport Zaventem (BRU).
Many of the hotels in central Brussels are targeted at business travellers and European visitors, regularly offering bargain prices and discounts. Hotel discounts are also often available during the peak holiday seasons, from July and August, and also at Christmas time.
Budget accommodation in Brussels comes in the form of hostels, cheap hotels and family run B&Bs. There are three main HI hostels located in the city, all of which offer both dormitory beds and separate single / double rooms.
